Getting ready to start the course

I have decided to join the grooming course in September 2006, and I was expected to finish the course by February 2007.
This is a full time course, from 11am till 6~7pm daily, Wednesday and weekends are our day off. Part timer are encouraged to attend the classes during weekends or any other 2 days of the week. Of course, part timer will need longer time to graduate, but all of us are learning the same stuff.
One advice for those working people who are interested in taking the part time course. After a long week of working, you might need some rest at home rather than bathing dogs and trimming their hair for almost a whole day. And this is not just a month period, it might take for about 6 months time. It's advisable to take full time course, to graduate sooner and start grooming business asap...
I am staying in Kepong, so I would take bus to Titiwangsa bus station, then transfer to STAR train. It takes about 45 min to reach the school. Another alternative is taking KTM Kepong to Putra station, get off and walk to the STAR train station next to the The Mall shopping mall.

How do I get started in pet grooming?

I used to dream of becoming a doctor, be it a doctor for human being, or a veterinarian for small animals.
Study hard in science stream classes during secondary school was the most stressed moment in my life. Why? It's because I have to score at least some As in the SPM in order for me to get a chance to 'squeese' into Msia's local university.
Too bad, I wasn't that smart as I thought I was. I cound't get distinction in my BM, and that spoilt my dream of becoming a doctor.
I have never given up. Local university is not my only choice. There are SPCA lah, PAWs lah, WWF lah, and even Zoo Negara can be my potential working places.
Coincidentally, I came across WowWow@MeowMeow in an article in The Chinapress. I quickly contacted the person-in-charge cum the assistant Ms Phon, getting all the info I need about pet grooming. She encouraged me to join the grooming course because it's the stepping stone for me to get into small animals line. Think about it!
